It isn’t a mystery how to find Seattle tech jobs, but there are so many avenues to explore, it can be overwhelming. The Washington State Department of Commerce says that the information and communication technology industry in Washington State includes 14,000 firms, 200,000 jobs, $22B in payroll, and median wages of $110K-$140K. Seattle is the epicenter of the Washington State tech industry.
Here are some resources to help job seekers find a tech job in Seattle, alphabetized because that seems like the simplest way to list them. When possible, I linked to Seattle-specific searches. These sites offer job listings, education/training opportunities, and links to networking events.
This list skews toward software industry jobs because so many of my coaching clients work in software development in technical or management roles.
