I do not collect or store any personally identifiable information when you visit my website. If you email me, I use Google Apps so my email privacy is handled by Google.
How do I protect your information?
My website is hosted by SiteGround and is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to my site as safe as possible.
I use regular malware scanning.
All payment transactions are processed separately from my website through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on my servers.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.
If you turn cookies off, it won’t affect your experience.
I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist me in operating my website, conducting my business, or serving my users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. I may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce my site policies, or protect my or others’ rights, property or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for visitor analysis, marketing, advertising, or other uses.

How does my site handle Do Not Track signals?

I do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices, I will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:

I will notify users via in-site notification within 7 business days
I agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
I closed down my email marketing program in 2019, so this section is no longer relevant to my website. I deleted the records that were previously stored at MailerLite. MailerLite promises to secure and protect any personally identifiable information they collected in the past.
