Life is too short to be unhappy with your work. The world needs you to be the best version of yourself, fully engaged in activities that are aligned with your interests, personality, strengths, and values. When people can serve in this way, they are more creative, productive, and effective, with benefits that reach beyond the workplace into our larger communities.
I have a successful track record of assisting leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs who want their work to be meaningful, not just lucrative. You can read what previous clients say about me here.
We might be a fit to work together if you …
- Understand that you are the expert in your own life, and no one (including me) can tell you the best choices for you. I can help you gain clarity about your values, and make choices aligned with them.
- Are willing to work hard for change. Most progress in coaching happens between sessions as you take actions.
- Have the capacity to tolerate uncertainty through a change process, and are able to be patient as change takes time.
- Can work collaboratively with a strategic advisor. Coaching is not a process where an authority figure dictates what you should do. (If anyone tells you they can, RUN!)
- Know that career coaching is not recruiting or job placement. I cannot introduce you to hiring managers as recruiters would (I *can* guide you to be competitive in the labor market so that conversations with recruiters and hiring managers go well.)
- Will engage in coaching that uses video, telephone, and email.
