According to TechFlash.com, nearly half of all jobs in Washington State are tied in some way to the technology industry. Seattle.gov’s Office of Economic Development says that Seattle’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry sector includes over 850 companies, 18,250 jobs, and contributes over $3.5 billion to the city’s economy.

Washington Technology Industry Association – Statewide association of technology companies, boasting 1000 member companies and 125,000 technology employees. Last time I looked, their new online technology job search center had 300 job listings.
